General Mandarin

An advanced program from Inquisitive Mandarin for elementary students, introducing more vocabulary and sentences within the HSK framework. Targeted up to HSK level 3, the program remains beginner-friendly by revisiting basic vocabulary from Level 1 books, making it suitable for students who are just starting to learn Mandarin.

Through interactive activities, language games, and daily conversation exercises, students are encouraged to build confidence in listening, speaking, reading, and writing Mandarin. Each session also includes creative projects and regular quizzes to ensure understanding, while preparing students for HSK exams in a fun and effective way.

HSK LEVEL: HSK 1 – HSK 3

NEW HSK 1–3 covers the basic level of Mandarin learning and is equivalent to CEFR A1 to A2. At this level, students learn pinyin, tones, and everyday vocabulary for basic needs such as self-introduction, asking about time, location, and common activities. The learning also includes reading short texts, understanding simple instructions, and forming complete sentences.

After completing NEW HSK 3, students are expected to be able to communicate functionally in daily situations, both orally and in writing. They are ready to move on to the intermediate level (HSK 4) to further develop more complex and academic communication skills.
